Originally formed as an ad hoc committee for the Mayor of Jeffersontown, Kentucky, the Jeffersontown - Crusade Blues Festival Committee (JCBFC) was founded in 2005 for the purpose of raising funds for the WHAS Crusade for Children in Louisville, Kentucky via a Blues Festival for all who love blues. It is a family-friendly event with a laidback atmosphere, held in Jeffersontown's beautiful Veteran’s Memorial Park on the third weekend of May each year. The Blues event itself is operated by the JCBFC and sponsored by the City of Jeffersontown and local businesses and organizations whose donations help underwrite the cost of producing the Blues Festival. We sincerely hope you come and support our effort on behalf of the WHAS Crusade for Children and enjoy this year's festival. |
